The Cool Springs AMBASSADORS
The Cool Springs Ambassadors are an especially dedicated group of members who work to make your Chamber experience better. Led by Board Liasion Paul Geisen and Member Chairman Mark Adair, the Ambassadors meet you at the door, assist with registration, attend all events and ribbon cuttings, mentor new members and recognize and reward loyal long-standing members. We recognize the importance of retention as a way of maintaining our culture and our foundation so that new members find a Chamber home that is unique, strong and stable.

Standing Committees
Your Chamber experience will be enhanced by your involvement in small groups. Each member is invited to join one or more committees in an area of personal interest, talent or skill. Each committee is represented on the Board by a Board Liaison, and each committee is led by a Member Chairman who is responsible for the activities of that committee. Which committee(s) appeal(s) to you?

Membership
The Membership Committee works closely with the staff to encourage and recruit new members to join the CSC and to support and reinforce the benefits of engagement to existing members to foster retention of membership.

This group also works closely with the Ambassador Group as it provides New Member Orientation and assigns Mentors to each new member who joins. Board Liaisons, Brett Robbe and Shelly Robertson encourage you to get involved.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is made up of the Executive Committee and any additional members as assigned by the Chairman of the Board. This group meets quarterly to audit the budget, assess profit and loss, and monitor the Chambers bottom line.

Events
The Events committee is responsible for all social and fundraising events. This year, the Chamber is planning its first ever Golf Tournament, capped off by a night of Shakin’ Up Cool Springs, a chance for area bartenders to compete in the “Best Martini” contest. Other major events include our Mayor Summit in September, our Annual Awards Banquet in November and our Silent Auction in December. This group, led by Board Liaison Kirsten Dernbach and Member Chairman Ginger Jones, encourages you to join in the fun of the Events Team!

Communications
Without a compass we’d lose our way. The Communications team supports the Chamber staff and the Board by defining our branding and our identity. Maintaining consistent messaging, reaching the public via traditional and social media tactics, and finding new ways to get the word out about the exciting educational and developmental opportunities afforded by the CSC. This team is represented on the Board by Teresa White and is led by Member Chairman, Toni Birdsong.

Economic Development
What does the CSC do to foster continued elevation of Cool Springs as an area of phenomenal growth? Board Liaison Mark Shore, and Member Chairman Peter Scott, stay in touch with the Williamson County Economic Development Director’s office to ensure alignment and synergy between the two groups. This is a great learning about if you are interested in how the two cities of Brentwood and Franklin work with the County government to maximize our commercial development.

Young Professionals
The Cool Springs Young Professionals group is dedicated to building relationships within the business community by providing driven, motivated young professionals opportunities in the area of networking, professional development and community involvement. Members of the Cool Springs Young Professionals are between the ages of 21-40 and work in a variety of career areas. Board Liaison Stuart Hodnett and Member Chairman Kristen McBryde welcome you.

Women’s Leadership Network
The mission of the Women's Leadership Network is to inspire women in the business community to reach their professional and personal potential. Each month you’ll experience a new and refreshing perspective from an experienced woman leader in the business community.  Sheree Bartlett is our Board Liaison to WLN and Suzanne Ratcliffe is the Member Chair.

Professional Development
One of the most highly-regarded missions of the CSC is to offer quality educational programs via experts in technology, marketing, communications, and inspiration. The Professional Development group meets monthly to brainstorm ideas, mastermind for mutual success and learn from innovative leaders in various segments of industry. Rick Kloete is the Board Liaison to Professional Development.

Business Leads Exchange
Peni Ingram, Board Liaison and George Zubulake invite you to polish your pitch, share your leads and build lasting relationships via the Business Leads Exchange. This is a fast-paced, high-energy coffee meeting that you will look forward to each month.
